Aimer 通算9枚目シングルリリース。 表題曲「ninelie」は、4月より放送の"ノイタミナ" アニメ『甲鉄城のカバネリ』エンディング・テーマとなっており、同アニメのサウンドトラックを手掛ける劇伴作家・澤野弘之が、C/W「Through My Blood 〈AM〉」も含め楽曲・プロデュースを担当。 さらに、同アニメのオープニング・テーマを担当するEGOISTから、かねてよりAimerと交流のあったボーカルのchellyがゲストボーカルとして参加。Aimer × chelly × 澤野弘之という、夢のコラボレーションが実現 !
