"From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman" is a royal-road sword-master action fantasy based on a novel created by author Shigeru Sagazaki & illustrator Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, a talked-about work that has surpassed 9 million copies in cumulative series circulation, combined with the comic adaptation by Kazuki Sakuto and two spin-off titles. The first season of the TV anime produced based on the original novel was broadcast on the "IMAnimation" slot of the TV Asahi nationwide network of 24 stations, on BS Asahi, and on AT-X, distributed exclusively worldwide on Prime Video, and entered the top 10 in over 45 countries and regions. It also won the Storytelling Award at the "Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2026," sweeping up worldwide attention. For the ED theme of its second season, the TV anime "From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman II," BLUE ENCOUNT's new song "Mikansei" has been chosen!
